Established Tokyo Sharin Seisakusho Co., Ltd. (predecessor of Japan Motor Wheel Co., Ltd.)

Tokyo Sharin Seisakusho Co., Ltd. Abe Tekkosho Co., Ltd. merged and changed to Japan Motor Wheel Co., Ltd.

1943

Miya Steelworks and Tokyo Shearing Co., Ltd. merged and changed to Toto Steel Mfg., Co., Ltd.

Established Toto Zoki Co., Ltd.

Established Toto Tekko Co., Ltd.

Toto Steel Mfg., Co., Ltd. opens Toyohashi Steel Works (now Toyohashi Plant)

Toto Zoki Co., Ltd. opens Chigasaki Seisakusho (now Kanagawa Plant)

Japan Motor Wheel Co., Ltd. opens Toyokawa Factory (now Toyokawa Plant)

Moved the headquarters of Japan Motor Wheel Co., Ltd., Toto Steel Mfg., Co., Ltd., Toto Zoki Co., Ltd., and Toto Tekko Co., Ltd. to Yonbancho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.

Japan Motor Wheel Co., Ltd. opens Ayase Factory (now Ayase Plant)

Japan Motor Wheel Co., Ltd., Ltd. was established by merging four companies, Toto Steel Mfg., Co., Ltd., Tohto Steel, Toto Zoki Co., Ltd. Toto Tekko Co., Ltd., and Tohto Tekko.

1969

Established Topy International, Inc. (now Topy America, Inc.)

1972

Established Technology Research Center (now Business Development Strategy Center) in Toyohashi Plant

Commencement of sales of synthetic mica

Concluded a technical assistance agreement with PT. Inkoasku (Indonesia)

Concluded a technical assistance agreement with PT. Palingda Nasional (Indonesia)

Ayase Plant Developed Wheels for Large and Medium Tubeless Tires for Commercial Vehicles

Developed ultra-large wheels for mining equipment(SGOR®)
