Topy Industries Ltd. (Head office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hiromi Ishii; hereinafter referred to as "Topy Industries") and Topy Enterprises, Ltd. (Head office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masayuki Yamaguchi; hereinafter referred to as "Topy Enterprises, Ltd.") will jointly exhibit at the Japan Truck Show 2024, which will be held at Pacifico Yokohama from Thursday, May 9 to Saturday, May 11, 2024. At the Topy Industries Group booth, 15 commercial vehicle wheels will be exhibited, including the newly developed "Brilliant Wheel®," a wheel with improved design and a three-layer coating, and plated wheels.
By assembling the disc to the outside of the rim, the structure eliminates shadows on the front of the wheel, making the design surface appear wider and improving the design. In addition, by changing the position where the disc is attached, we have reduced the amount of material used for the disc, thereby realizing resource conservation.
"Brilliant Wheel®" is the first steel wheel for commercial vehicles in Japan to adopt a three-layer coating structure. The three-layer coating structure improves corrosion resistance by two times* compared to conventional products, contributing to improved vehicle safety and appearance. This time, the adoption of a newly developed wheel further improves design.
