To promote the use of renewable energy as part of its efforts to reduce CO2 emissions, Topy Industries Ltd. (Head office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hiromi Ishii; hereinafter referred to as "Topy") installed a solar power generation facility using an on-site PPA model at Toyokawa Plant (Toyokawa City, Aichi Prefecture), which began operation on March 20, 2025. This is the first time that solar power generation equipment using this model has been put into operation at a Topy Industries manufacturing facility in Japan.
The solar power generation facility installed this time is expected to generate approximately 1,013 MWh of electricity per year, which is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by approximately 427 tons per year. The electricity generated by the facility is planned to be used within Toyokawa Plant.

The Topy Industries Group regards the promotion of sustainability management as a top priority, and has formulated and is promoting the "TOPY Sustainable Green Vision 2050," a long-term sustainability vision aimed at realizing a rich and sustainable society in 2050. In response to climate change, we have set a goal of reducing CO2 emissions by 46% in fiscal 2030 compared to fiscal 2013, and achieving carbon neutrality in fiscal 2050, and are promoting various initiatives toward this goal.
Toyokawa Plant has been promoting energy conservation activities by promoting digital transformation, such as the creation of a smart factory using digital data obtained from the "energy visualization system" that visualizes electricity usage, and by improving productivity. Going forward, the company will continue to utilize renewable energy obtained from the newly operational solar power generation facility to further reduce CO2 emissions.
