Respect for human rights

The Group supports and respects international human rights standards, such as the United Nations' the Guiding principles on business and human rights. Furthermore, based on the Group's Basic Philosophy and Sustainability Policy, we respect human rights, believing that "everyone has the right to live a happy, dignified life, and that all people are born with equal rights." Specifically, we prohibit discrimination, child labor, and forced labor, prevent harassment, promote diversity and inclusion, and respect basic rights at work.

As a fundamental approach to respect for human rights, the Topy Group has stipulated in Group Code of Conduct that "respect for the personality and individuality of employees." Furthermore, the Group has listed "respect for human rights" as a materiality and has established the Topy Industries Group Human Rights Policy, which sets out specific ideas regarding various human rights initiatives within the Group. Under this Human Rights Policy, the Group will continue to further promote its efforts to respect human rights.
