Topy Industries, Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Nobuhiko Takamatsu, hereinafter "Topy Industries") has been certified as a "DX certified business operator" based on the DX (Digital Transformation) certification system* established by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Received June 1st.

 

Topy Industries considers the promotion of DX to be one of its most important management, resulting in building "Digital Transformation Strategy Department" in April 2022. In order to generate stable profits through the application of digital technology and data utilization, we are reforming our mindset (business reform) and improving the environment by promoting DX. The acquisition of this certification was evaluated for the fact that our business strategy for promoting DX meet the certification standards set by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and that we disclose information appropriately to stakeholders.
　
So far, we have promoted "manufacturing reform" by building smart factories and visualizing big data as part of digital transformation in the manufacturing field, such as reforming core business systems and energy-saving activities at manufacturing sites. Going forward, by centrally managing and sharing the big data collected from each business division, we will create perspectives and ideas that transcend organizational boundaries and promote company-wide DX.

A certification system based on the Law on the Promotion of Information Processing, under which the Ministry of Economy,

Trade and Industry (METI) certifies companies that are found to be ready to promote DX  (DX Ready)by complying with the basic requirements of the Digital Governance Code,
