Contributing to the realization of recycling-based society through upcycling of cosmetic raw materials
- Supplying unused TOPY MICA resources to MÅNGATA -

Topy Industries, Ltd. (Head office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hiromi Ishii; hereinafter referred to as "Topy Industries") has begun supplying unused resources such as by-products generated during the manufacturing process of TOPY MICA ^*1 to MÅNGATA Corporation (Head office: Nerima-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Hisanori Tanaka; hereinafter referred to as "MÅNGATA"). Unused resources that were previously discarded due to lack of use are upcycled ^*2 by MÅNGATA into color materials and used for various purposes. This initiative is also expected to have the effect of reducing the amount of by-products discarded.
The Topy Industries Group Basic Philosophy is to "contribute to realization of a sustainable recycling-oriented society," and this initiative will contribute to realizing this basic philosophy.

As a pioneer in recycling discarded cosmetics and their raw materials, we collect discarded cosmetics from cosmetics companies, retail stores, and general consumers, and develop a business that converts them into multi-purpose water-soluble color materials (paints, miscellaneous goods creations, etc.). •   On exhibiting at the 12th Cosmetic Ingredients and Technology Exhibition (CITE JAPAN 2025)^*3​

At the Topy Industries exhibition booth, we will be handing out water-based gel ink ballpoint pens as a novelty item, developed by MÅNGATA Corporation in technical cooperation with Sakura Color Products Corporation. The ink is made from upcycled cosmetics that would otherwise be discarded.
