Renewed certification as a "DX Certified Business" by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.

Topy Industries, Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hiromi Ishii; hereinafter "Topy Industries") renewed its "DX Certified Business Operator" certification under the DX certification system established by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, effective June 1, 2026.

The DX certification system is a system established by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) based on the "Act on Promotion of Information Processing," which certifies businesses that comply with the basic requirements of the "Digital Governance Code" set by METI and are ready to promote DX. Topy Industries first obtained DX certification in June 2022, and this is its second renewal, following a renewal in June 2024. This certification renewal was granted in recognition of Topy Industries' DX strategy meeting the criteria for a "DX certified business," as well as its efforts to promote DX, such as developing DX personnel and strengthening the use of data and AI.

In its Medium-Term Management Plan, "TOPY Active & Challenge 2027," the Topy Industries Group has positioned "further promotion of DX" as one of the key themes of its sustainability strategy. By improving the efficiency and sophistication of operations and processes through DX, the company is supporting human capital and working to strengthen its management foundation through production innovation, advanced quality control, and manufacturing reform.

To date, we have implemented measures such as refreshing our core business systems, visualizing energy consumption, and transforming our production sites into smart factories. Currently, we are utilizing a company-wide data utilization platform, the "Data-Driven Platform ^*", to promote centralized management of operational, energy, and quality data, as well as the use of AI. This will accelerate idea generation and the creation of new value that transcends organizational boundaries.

Furthermore, we are developing 600 DX (Digital Transformation) professionals to lead the way, strengthening the data literacy of individuals equipped with digital knowledge and a data utilization mindset. At the same time, we position information security as a foundation for enhancing corporate value and are promoting strengthened security measures throughout the entire group.
The Topy Industries Group will continue to leverage data and digital technologies to further promote digital transformation (DX) and strive for sustainable growth and enhanced corporate value.
