Topy MW Manufacturing Mexico SA DE CV (Location: Mexico; President and CEO: Kentaro Oba; hereinafter "TMMM"), a consolidated subsidiary of Topy Industries Ltd. (Head office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hiromi Ishii; hereinafter "Topy Industries"), has obtained "Ford Q1" certification, a quality management system from the U.S.-based Ford Motor Company (hereinafter "Ford").
Ford Q1 is Ford's proprietary quality management system that assesses the quality and management systems of Ford's suppliers, and is a certification given only to suppliers that meet high-level quality requirements based on four evaluation indicators.* TMMM has received Ford Q1 certification in recognition of its quality management system and operational track record.
As a global wheel supplier with production bases in Japan, the United States, Mexico, China, Indonesia, Thailand and India, as well as alliance partners, the Topy Industries Group will continue to strive to improve customer satisfaction and increase its presence by continuing to provide high-quality products and services.
*Four evaluation indices: Quality Performance, Capable Systems (assessment of quality control standards such as IATF16949 and ISO14001 and production capacity), Warranty Performance (service and guarantees in the market), and Delivery Performance.
