The Group does not engage in deforestation or any other actions that destroy ecosystems in its business and production activities, but considers the preservation of biodiversity, along with global warming, to be important for achieving a sustainable society. As part of our biodiversity conservation activities, our group promotes the use of domestic paper and recycled paper that do not harm the environment in order to conserve forest resources in developing countries.
The Group works to protect water resources and strives to reduce water consumption by circulating and reusing the cooling water used in factories. In addition, we purify wastewater to below the environmental standard value in a treatment facility so as not to pollute the environment.
