We are actively promoting the employment of people with disabilities, with our employment rate at 2.9% (as of June 1, 2025), exceeding the legally mandated employment rate of 2.7% that will be in effect from July 2026. Employees with disabilities are active in a wide range of workplaces, from the manufacturing sites at each factory to the administrative department at our headquarters, depending on their individual aptitude. Furthermore, in March 2024, we launched a "farm-type employment program for people with disabilities" and are working to create new jobs. We are also working to create a work environment where employees with disabilities can work with peace of mind and to foster understanding among colleagues (through study sessions, etc.) so that other employees can work together in the same workplace. With an eye toward raising the legally mandated employment rate in the future, we are actively building relationships with special needs schools and employment transition support organizations, and will continue to expand employment opportunities and support the active participation of people with disabilities.
