Contributing to local communities through corporate hometown tax donations

We set up a warehouse in the parking lot of Toyohashi City General Gymnasium in Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture, where our manufacturing plant is located, and donated it to Toyohashi City in March 2024. This warehouse will be used to store temporary stands used at Toyohashi City General Gymnasium and other facilities, and aims to support the "Creating a flow of selected and gathered people" project promoted by Toyohashi City by increasing the capacity of the gymnasium to revitalize sports spectating and other activities. We also received a letter of appreciation from Toyohashi City for this initiative's contribution to the development of the local community and the creation of a unique and vibrant hometown.

In addition, in June 2024, we made a donation to support the "Childcare Worker Treatment Improvement Subsidy Project," a project promoted by Ayase City, Kanagawa Prefecture to create a town where parents and children can grow up full of smiles.

Supporting the Shinagawa Children's Cafeteria Network and Reducing Food Loss

Since 2019, we have been donating food products that will expire in one year from the emergency food stockpiled at the head office to the Shinagawa Children's Cafeteria Network, which is run by Shinagawa Ward Council on Social Welfare. By donating stockpiled food before the expiration date, we aim not only to avoid food loss due to disposal, but also to make effective use of food by those who truly need it. is. As part of the career education sponsored by the NPO School Support Center, we accept junior high and high school students from all over Japan for company visits at our head office. Support through culture and sports

Under the Group Basic Philosophy, the Group collaborates with local communities and actively supports sports and culture as a good corporate citizen.

In the field of sports, we have had an official sponsorship contract with the San-en NeoPhoenix, a professional basketball team that belongs to the B.LEAGUE and whose hometown is the Mikawa region where our manufacturing plant is located, since 2018. Hoping for further development in the Mikawa region, we support the team together with the fans and actively promote cooperation with the local community. At our sponsored match held in January 2024, we set up a booth and held a quiz event to interact with the local community through sports.

In the cultural field, we have mainly sponsored events related to our group's business, such as special exhibitions at the National Museum and the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation. We will continue to consider sponsoring events and exhibitions that match our group's aspirations.

Other local communities and initiatives

Each manufacturing plant works with the local community to carry out environmental conservation activities. In fiscal 2023, Toyohashi Plant implemented a "Zero Waste Campaign" to protect the environment.

In addition, at Kanagawa Plant, in response to requests from local residents, we rent out tennis courts within the plant to help local residents deepen their understanding of daily manufacturing activities through interaction.

Furthermore, we promote contribution activities to local communities by sponsoring festivals and fireworks displays held in the areas where our manufacturing plants are located.
